American Pie in Kenner

Quite, but rather busy small diner. Open 24 hours! The food was good classic diner affair. They do sell alcohol, pies as you could imagine, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There was also video poker.

The food was great. The wait staff was super friendly. Service was slow, but the place was packed - Friday before Mardi GrasI will definitely go back

Food was great service left something to be desired.

My guy and I walked in and sat ourselves at the booth right by the door. A waitress was at the booth right next to ours, taking an order. I honestly don't remember even being acknowledged. We sat there at least 3 minutes. Without menus or even being spoken to before I thought to start my stopwatch. Which hit 2 min before ANOTHER kind woman. Kat I call her for short. She came from behind the counter and offered us menus and service. The previous waitress walked away from that table and us without so much as a one moment please and I personally felt out of place being the only African American people in the room. But Kat saved the place with her sweet service. As I sat and observed. There were more diverse groupings and their service wasnt as bad as ours. So I'm not sure what went wrong with that 1st waitress. Food was great. And I enjoyed my time there once Kat came to our rescue. I will visit at least once more to see how it goes.

Lovely service, reasonable prices. The best breakfast food I have ever had. Delicious homestyle cooking. Highly recommend.

Love this place. The name fits perfect. Kind, beautiful, waitresses behind the bar. An all American menu with a vibe to fit. We eat here often for lunch.

Customer service was amazing, food wasn't as good as I was hoping.

This was not the cool retro diner we thought it would be. It is more like a glorified Waffle House with pictures and posters of things from the fifties. They were out of some food and didn't inform us until we thought it was time for the food to come out. My meal did not come out with gravy and took the waitress three times asking before a bowl of gravy was put up in the window. The food was not bad but don't get hopes up for something spectacular. Bathroom and dining area generally clean and taken care of.

Parking for ppl w/disabilities exists but not EXACTLY ADA compliant. Not level from lot to sidewalk, but not horrible. Old fashioned black/white/red diner charm without the old fashioned service with a smile. The best things about this place are the neon sign, the stuff on the walls to look at, and pretty low prices. Put money in the jukebox and the sound system was barely audible, and when informed, they weren't concerned. That pretty much ruined it, bc that IS one of the best parts of the diner experience. And music is obviously their theme as seen in the wall decor.

Just ate here before catching a flight back to Atlanta. Wendy was our waitress. She was so sweet and nice. She recommended the hot sausage which I suggest everyone try if you're not from New Orleans. Food was so good, large portions at a cheap price. I will surely come again when visiting the city.

If I can give zero stars that is exactly what I would do the first young lady that took my order was very nice but the lady that gave me my food let my food sat for 15 minutes then tried to give it to me then got upset when I didn’t want the food wouldn’t return here ever in life and alerting all my friends to NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN AND TO THINK I ATE HERE EVERY MORNING WITH NO PROBLEMS CORPORATE WILL HERE FROM ME!! And I’m not stopping until none of my friends and coworkers and school buddies never eat here again!!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬

Do not eat here. As we were waiting, one guy got up and left because they got his order wrong twice. Another group got up and left because they never even got menus. The guy sitting behind me only had 1 shoe on. When a patron opens the door to go in the men's bathroom, you can see the guy standing at the urinal...urinal...from your table. We came here because the menu online looked like it had a great variety, but the food and the service was so exceptionally slow it wasn't worth it. Although the staff was very nice, the whole place needs to get their act together.

Great diner; like stepping back in time. The food is outstanding and the waitress was friendly and efficient. The apple pie was fresh and delicious!

Clean, tasty, and friendly. Loved the pancakes though the strawberry topping was skimpy. Omelette was large and so good. Coffee refills were offered frequently.

I stop here every time I'm in New Orleans! Best diner out here no question! If your going to the airport make it a point to stop by.

Friendly, helpful staff that seemed to enjoy working together! Food was plentiful and reasonably priced. Treated children as a customer. Waitress even called manager to ask about local seasoning blend used in the restaurant for us and obtained permission to sell us a bottle! Retro style decor with actual pie on counters!

Food was great and the girl who helped me did just as she was walking in, without even getting a chance to barely put her stuff down. She was really helpful. My new favorite 24 hour place.

This is my new weekend breakfast spot. I have tried it a few times and I'm very happy with it. The food is good and very reasonably priced. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

Sweet and good customer service combined with the best chili cheese fries I've had in memory and one of the best burgers also. The play of the slightly sweet bunny, large patty, genuine cheddar cheese melted on top just combined for a gastronomical treat. Really generous portions. Tasted a friend's pancakes and they were amazing too! Definitely recommend it.

Best BLTs I've ever had! The bacon is nice and crispy, and the tomato tastes fresh. They also have homemade fries and chips. The decor is fun, too.

It's a full house all the time. I love eating here with my brother he really enjoys the breakfast.

From the huge cheeseburgers to the gigantic omelets, American Pie Diner gets it all right. Coffee is perfect, service is fast and friendly. Our meal couldn't have been better.

We ordered our meal to go. The food took longer to prepare than the time we were told.Then went we get back to the hotel and check our food; the pork chops looked poorly cooked, plus they forgot to put the rest of my food in with my order! I didn't call them or go, back because of how long we'd waited there the first time.

Went there for there soft open. Great brick oven style pizza. I ordered the traditional style crust with traditional sauce and topped with meats and fresh mozzarella. Let me just say it was delicious. And if they bring it to you and its not made correctly or if they burn the edges, no worries. They make one you a new at No Charge!

Omg!! I ordered the sloppy joe burger meal which was a huge burger topped with chili and cheese and all the fixins' and it was so good! I loved the creole seasoning on the fries. Will definitely eat here again whenever I visit NOLA!

Fantastic Burgers. Knuckle buster is bbqs pork chopped and placed over burger patty with fried onion strings. Go for the sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. Spinach and artichoke dip is great also.
